BPR7 OR 8 ES'S For my setup

I have read a few plug threads and cant come up with a conclussion. Should I run the 7's or 8's?
I have hks down pipe and hks ti/carbon exhaust with a hibrid hks drop in filter and a works p2 flash.

I am somewhat inclined to go with the bpr8es or the br8es cause I have them both at my work and it would be VERY cheap.

I've got the WORKS TR-340 package minus cams ---- and I was eyeballing the BPR8ES's as well. From all the commentary, it shouldn't be detrimental, and could possibly be a nice improvement depending on the gap. If you notice a difference with the 8's, let us know because there's alot of us at a similar level (and a similar decision point).

Thanks!

basic boltons with a flash...i would say stay with stockers gapped at .27inch or .7xxmm... but i wouldn't move to bpr8es until i get a)camshafts b)meth/increase in boost-23 or more lbs c)bigger turbo...

if your not going to use a stock plug then with your set-up i would use NGK BPR7ES gapped between 26-28. I,ve used the 7 and 8 in my modded 03 and there was no difference whatsoever in the way the car ran or the way the plugs burned. Take my advice and go with the 7,s at the gap i recommended.

i run the 8's gapped at 23. the best spark you can imagine. i also change my plugs every 5k miles. when you gap them at 26-28 somewhere there. its going to get a bigger gap driving around. and before you know it your blowing the sparks out. and you will feel it. i stick with 23 almost what it is coming out the package. works perfect.

I say 23. on the 8's.

it also depends on boost level thats the biggest thing. its not realy mods as much as boost numbers. what amount of lbs are you doing? they say anything above 15lbs would be better off with some 8's. when i say they? i meen i dont know iam pulling that out my ***. but iam sure i heard it somewhere. either way you cant go wrong with the 8's if your worried just dont gap the 7's as much youll be good.

I am running 20lbs'ish. I went with the br8es's and gapped at tight 24, seems to be smoother then the denso iridiums but I havent hammered on it yet.

i smash on it all the time. nothing feels better than a brand new set of spark plugs. and a fresh oil and gear change.
