Cosworth or GSC

Hey guys...just seeking more opinions to help me decide..

which would you go with...for the EVO IX?

Cosworth cams or GSC S1 cams




even if you dnt have experience with the products...just tell me..if you had a IX which cams would you go with..

I would have to Cosworth on this one, they have such a rich racing back ground. Also the lift and duration are pretty damn close to Jun and Revolver specs for the VIII's.
Come spring I will go Cosworth... unless something else better comes along

I want to get the GSC S1..From what I hear those cams are perfect for the stock turbo.

Out of these 2 choices Id have to choose Cosworth for the same reasons as vwjeff posted

Ill personally go w/ the Kelford sthough when the time comes to swap out cams

gsc has more results that show positive... cosworth lose power on lower end.. and the only person who has shown decent results is dynoflash... but they werent very clear...

gsc has shown graphs and results... personally... im going to wait a few more months and see what happens...

i figure in june ill have my mind made up

As far as I know, Dynoflash has only tested the Cosworth cams for the IX. He hasn't tested GSC's or Kelford, so how do you know the Cosworth's are that great? They may be the worst of them, you have nothing to compare them to. Al was impressed with them, comparing them to VIII cams, and because of MIVEC, it's not a good comparison. Food for thought..

I'm going to wait till more info and dyno numbers are released before purchasing cams.

Will be testing the GSC cams for the evo ix this week end and will post if it works like the 280 for the evo 8 that would just be crazy I have personally seen a 12 hp increase over the HKS that would be great it would certainly be the best way to spend $850

It looks like the Cosworths are aswell.
And, dxbevo8... as long as the revs are kept under 8k, I would say you will be fine
