"cosworth Cams On Ix" By The Shop And Dynoflash!!!

hey guy,
well yesterday i had a chance to buy a set of cosworth cams that dynoflash (AL) had on sell and fortunatly i was able to buy the last set that AL had. Also I had "THE SHOP" up in norwalk, CT install the cams and also install the head studs. If you live in the tri state area i highly recommend you to go to "THE SHOP" and let them do what ever you have to do to your car, they're the best in customer service and also once your there they treat u like family. Now to the cams...i had been tune before by AL by the mods i have in my sig except for the cams and i made 358whp and 400 torque and heres the dyno sheet wit the cosworth cams and tuned by the master of flashes unfornatly my header started leaking, who knows what the power would off been if the header wasn't leaking.

why did you make another thread? AL made one about your car already https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=242257 And you also have alot more mods than what AL posted on his thread

Good numbers. That is more than 40 hp gain.

But I have to ask if the dyno had the same calibration when you did the base run as this latest run.

I have read that this shop keeps messing with their dyno calibration making the numbers very suspect.

A few notes

1 - We could tell there was a manifold leak as it was sounding like a truck at idle and kept getting worse and worse

2 - The Intercoller was not used - customer is advised NOT to use that with NOS

3 - When did you add the crank pulley - I was not aware of that - PLEASE REMOVE it before you come back to check the car with the fixed manifold leak.

First off - thanks for the great review, Jimmy and I appreciate that very much

If you could - please try and describe the manner in which the cams effected the "feel" of the engine and power band

I know for myself the cams really altered the "feel" of the IX

I have done a lot of IX's with Stage I and II which were 11 second cars - this one felt like it had more - it had a certain unchained feeling about it - I liked them
