Question Does Getrag make the U.S. EVO tranny?

Does anyone know for sure if Getrag makes the tranny for the U.S. Evo VIII? THe reason I am asking is that the old VR4's trannys were made by Getrag and if a 50 cent part went bad, you had to buy the whole tranny. These transmissions were basically throw away units. Any information and help would be appreciated.

Thanks ,

Gumpy

Getrag trannies are the ****...! I dont believe Getrag made any EVO tranny.

I believe the S2000 has one built by Getrag, along with the Skyline and the S15!! Very nice box

No, the parts catalog for the Evo shows all the internal transmission parts. You can buy them individually. The tranny is a Mitsu tranny.
