rear motor mount

rear motor mount

well im making a list of stuff im gonna be picking up from buschur,
and i planed on getting a front motor mount i seen the front and rear combo deal.
anyone have any experance with the rear motor mount is it worth putting it?
hot bad is the vibrations?

I wouldn't do the rear motor mount unless I had something else major to do, like a clutch or pulling the engine. It's a **** to get to and get off. The majority of the difference is going to come from the front motor mount, and it's easy!

well shep is doing the tranny and tc case so i figured wile it was out id have him
put the motor mounts in

If you're talking about the rear rollstop, I'd like to know how it's a 1/2 hour job.

i done both mounts at the same time with hks 280 cams.steering wheel shakes really bad, you get used to it,the car vibrates like a vibrating chair.you just get used to it.

i would like to know also...i've installed buschurs front motor mount but would like to install the rear as well...
there is a day and night difference with just the front motor mount...shifting is a whole lot better!!!!

vibrates like crazy. i thought it was a bit much for daily street driving. but as a weekend or track car go for it.

Thanks for the info, i m about to install my motor mounts as well. i heard that installing the rear motor mount will take at least 2 hours. any truth to this?

we need to find someone that jus had the front one
then later on installed the rear one
