i have had my car modded since it had 3000miles on the odometer prior to that i just gave it a break-in of 1000miles from then to know which my car has 18000miles all of this mile are pure racing miles i only use the car for racing and mostly drag racing and 7000rpm launches always and the stock clutch seems fine had a bit of trouble adjusting the pedal height but thats in the past my clutch seems its going to be in there more time then what i thought i tell you i havent granny my car i race a lot so for me 18000 miles with the stock clutch and all this abusive driving and launching the stock clutch isnt that bad if i change it out ill buy another stocker

Still going strong @ 85,150 miles.

I just installed a Forge MBC yesterday. We'll see if that puts my clutch on a downward spiral

I just changed my clutch at 98,750K. The flywheel was fine. No hot spots/blueing and the disc still had material on it. Spring wear in the pressure plate required the new clutch. Otherwise, I would have milked it to 100,000K.

Well, I've only got about 41k on my stock clutch. With any luck, I'll make it to 80k too but I figured anything over 50k was fine. I do think that many of the people on this forum don't realize the abuse they put their clutch and transmission through which is why you see so many failures. It is nice to see examples of higher mileage on the stock parts to help counter those low mileage failures.

22k, stock clutch, feels like new. No launches, no abuse. Worst part of the car though is the clutch feel - never consistent. Mitsu definately dropped the ball spec'ing it for this car.

53,000 and counting. Mods are TBE, MBC, tune...

May try her at the drag strip with some 5.5k launches! I'll be lucky if I make it to 60k, if I drag her soon......

Check your propeller shaft bushings and rear diff bushings as well. I am doing the propeller shaft bushings next. I know they're shot...
