A lot to do with whether your miles are highway vs. stop and go.

The bulk of my miles come from my daily commute. About 82 miles a day. About 20 of which are freeway, the rest are 2 lane through a couple small towns. Not a lot of stop and go driving.

$1300 to replace clutch!

I got almost 61,000 miles when my clutch went out on me... and it went out w/ a bang. My clutch pedal started locking but was able to get my LanEvo to the shop. The mechanic told me he can't do it for any less than $1300. Man, I wish I still have my 95 Civic.

I just turned 100K a few days ago. Stock clutch is still holding on fine.

Is there anyone else over 100K?

go to a new shop. It should cost 600-700 max at a good speed shop.

GroundChuck,

What kind of power is your car putting down? Live in a hilly or flat area? Just asking to get an idea of conditions your high mileage stocker has seen
