Alky Nozzle Size?

Alky Nozzle Size?
Well Im getting ready to purchase a alky kit and was wondering how to correctly judge what nozzle to use. Do the different jets relate to different HP numbers or how do you calculate which to use.
Right now Im on a pretty maxed stock turbo and planning on running 100% alky at 26-27psi. I plan on upgrading turbo's in the future though to a 35R or something close.

The jet size really depends on the type of tune you plan on running and how much safety you're willing to leave on the table for additional headroom. I've been running the smallest jet from SMC (#7) for a while, from maxing out my old WR turbo (28psi) to running 28psi with my current GT3065 setup.
With the smallest jet on my old stock type turbo setup my timing map was more on the conservative side mirroring an aggressive straight 93 octane tune. Therefore, be prepared to run pump gas timing with the smallest jet size.
If you're looking for a good balance test out the #10 jet which should allow you to replace enough fuel to get a near race gas level timing curve, albeit at a greater risk if failure were to occur.
