Exhaust again

Alright I know its been covered but lets put a twist on it and cover it again. I bought my car with a HKS DP and cat back with a works high flow cat. I will be getting my car tuned as soon as the Cobb AP gets here but am unsure of if I want to stick with this set up. So I would like something thats capable of making more power then the setup I have now (Im keeping the works cat) and would also like it a little louder. Could I sell my DP and catback for the same price it would cost me to get something better? Is it worth my time as far as power goes? I would be happy with 7-10whp
and what should I be looking for in my hunt for mufflage?

IMO the Cobb AP is not going to be worth the money. I had one for my WRX and it was a waist. I sold it and put the money towards a custom EcuTEK tune and it was alot better. Maybe the new version will be better.

you could sell it, or just have a muffler shop replace the hks intermidate pipe with a 3 inch stainless steel pipe with no taper (where it bolts to the cat) and no resonators. not sure this would equal 7-10 hp

Cobb AP is not a really good value for what you're going to get out of it. Sell it and get a custom tune. Plus, Cobb really doesn't have that much RnD on the Evo.

I don't think that Cobb is selling the Cobb AP yet.
