First is synchronized. I also heard from a reilable source that EVOs have synchronized reverse gears too, and I'm inclined to believe it. Reverse in this car is nothing like it was in the non-synchro 1g and 2g DSMs.

As far as not being able to get into gear, I fought with the problem in cooler weather for an entire year on an aftermarket single disc clutch. I tried everything, and eventually just accepted the fact that it would be like that until I sent it out for my period shep rebuild. To my surprise, an exedy twin completely solved the problem.

Obviously I'm not expecting people with this problem to go out and upgrade the clutch again, but I don't think you will find an easy solution to this problem.

I don't think so, I think you'll find it will go "kkkkrrrrcccuuuunnnnch"

Triple synchro 1st & 2nd
Double synchro 3rd & Reverse
Single synchro 4th & 5th and if you have an MR a single on 6th as well.

You should be able to stuff it into 1st gear even at 60mph but who'd want to do that?

I saw the same thing. After the 20 min ride to/from work for example it will work fine.

sounds like your clutch is 'dragging' i.e not disengaging. It happened on my exedy hyper single not long ago. It evertually came good over a day or two's normal driving.
