Tune and Boost

if i get tuned for 22 psi and i am running 23 psi (1 psi higher) will this effect the AFR to make it more lean? the goes same if i run 21 psi (1 psi lower) how will this effect AFR??

i have a 255 walbro btw...
basic mods: k&n, burshcur tbe, mbc (set for stock until flash)

it won't effect it. the tuner should take care of adjusting the whole fuel map from 0 load to 300(for the IX i think)load cells. then again, i guess it depends who tunes you.

Changing boost will always have an effect, but 1psi should not make a drastic difference. Boost is going to fluctuate over time in different weather, but the ECU is smart enough to adjust accordingly within a certain threshold. 1psi should be well within this threshold.

You don't need to set the boost to stock until you're flashed.

Hopefully, that's a K&N drop-in filter and not a K&N Typhoon.
