i think you quoted the wrong guy... i think you meant to quote me ...

wastegates control extra exhaust gas... soo the wrong sized wastegate can cause boost creepin or boost spikes

however honesty from what i've read ... no one's had an issue with a 38MM wastegate not being big enough for a gt35r sooo i'm sure his 50trim will be just fine...

like i said .. it was just something to think about ... like value etc etc

TRASH!! IMO

one of the worse lagging setup's for the Evo mostly like has to do with their horrible o2 housing .. and wastegate poorly placed for boost between gears.. and a couple of other things i cant think of right now ( )

although there are a couple of members on this board do have ATP setup's and have had decent luck..

You must have heard this from your friends brother that heard from his cousin that the atp's kit is laggy, of course due to the O2 housing
Due you have any personall experience with this kit?
Cuz I due and it cant be beat for the money....O and no more laggy than comparable gt turbos.....

OP, what kind of power are you looking for? what application do you want (i.e. drag, street, autoX...?)?

Shearer, what are the specs of turbo in your GT35R kit?

Statix,
I presume you have an ATP3071 kit. which housing are you using? Do you do any road racing? I'm looking for a great all around DD & road racing turbo kit, I've been looking @ the BR 20G9LT, AMS 50 trim(pretty steep tho) and the ATP3071 or a GT30R kit. i'll run mainly on 93, as 110 is too pricey for DD.

Full-Race has some of the best welding techniques and their understanding of dynamics is some of the best in the industry. Look at their kits and their prices.....you know that they know how to make manifolds by the way they are set up.

Compare their manifolds to AMS, Buschur, etc.....Full-Race's manifolds are designed so much better.

and a big thing with Full-Race not only are they robotic welds... but they also use computers to test VE across all the tubes within the header

i dont know if it was your brother... but there was a guy a while back on the board who posted his boost logs of his AEM ... and he was hitting full boost in the HIGH 5k's (like 5800 if i remember right) which is WAY to high for a GT35R that's not EVEN comparable to a quaintly kit... but your right for the money ... it's solid but IMO it's worth it to spend more $$$$

hahaha i TOTALLLY agree ... there isn't even anyone (at least on this board) who has even PUSHED the Peakboost manifold nor the Full-Race with a GT35R (i say the gt35r bc it's a pretty comparable turbo that most company use and a VERY popular turbo)
