ATTENTION ATP turbo kit owners and others.
ok first off i want to say i got the kit, looks great. here are a few pics. im porting the housing this weekend.
have a few questions. the tial wastegate only has one port just like the stock wastegate, but there is another port at the top that is open. i talked to ATP and they said for the evo it remains open, aka vent to atmosphere. i orignaly thought i was missing that nipple but i guess not. anyone want to shed some light on that?
also u can see in the 4th pic i think, there is 2 metal couplings. i know the one that necks down is used for the stock rubber intake, but whats the stright one used for? its aluminum too.
other than that the kit looks pristine. everything is new and shinny.
o one more thing, i have the new version of the Buschur Deluxe FMIC and i was wondering if i would have to do something custom to the LICP to make it fit. if u look in the first pic, there is 2 chrome pipes that make up the LICP. now i do not need the one thats shaped like a U due to the design of the FMIC i have. will this all fit together or will i have to cut that U pipe or something to make it all fit.
thanks u for reading this and helping me in advance.

LICP's seem to be the big question when mixing parts. I personally stole my friends off his car when it was in the shop (ok i didn't really steal, i asked first). But as i see if your pic it looks like it should all fit together fine. I have a Buschur Turbo kit, Turbo XS FMIC, and a Ultimate racing licp that looks much like the "U" pipe. Should be fine. I also leave my top nipple open on my Tial WG.

The complete LICP is the L bend goes to the compressor outlet and the U bend which goes to a standard intercooler, if you have the buschur deluxe intercooler you only need half of the setup, the L portion, though its possible you may have to either cut down the pipe, or get a different coupler (depending on the size of the pipes also) If you find you have to cut down the pipe, remember to have it beaded again or it may blow the pipe off every so often.
The wastegate doesnt require the outside nipple, that is actually the assist port, its not normally used in an MBC configuration, if you have an EBC and need more control over the wastegate then the port is used.. But its not required nor will it hurt anything.. In fact, if you wanted to put the nipple on, it might not even fit considering the clearances you have to work with.
When you do the installation, I strongly recommend removing the radiator, most of us end up removing it, but I usually tell people so they start out by doing it, and not realizing it later.
The install itself is pretty straight forward, so as long as your not missing parts or whatnot, you should be able to do the install yourself in a few hours.
