Yeh 1250s would be waaay too big for the setup I'm wanting.. I was gonna go with 1000s max. Which 1000s are better - PTE or FIC? and are 1000s going to be ok on the stock ECU? or should I look at a smaller set?

I would go for the bosch anyday over Precision and all others. The same one mentioned on page 2, T1race... sells them.

The Bosch/ID are awesome, but you will pay a bit more for them. If you can afford them theyre worth it. PTE and FIC are also very good, just not AS good.

I see. So no one can say which is better out of the FIC's and PTE's?
And can I run these on the stock ECU without any hassles?

Are the Bosch/ID a drop in injector? I'm not really keen to modify things to fit them...
I heard you need to do something to the resistor box or something? and also something about different fuel pressures??
Any answers to these would be awesome!!

I agree with frenchy, i have always used RC injectors. They even rebuild them for you if need it.

Ive never had a problem with PTE and I know a few people using the FIC with no problems(except with E85, but it may not be the injectors). All 3 you can use with the stock ECU. The Bosch you need to remove the stock resistor box, but thats about it. You can get them with quick clips to avoid splicing and have a clean install. You can also run very high fuel pressure making them flow about 1600cc/min.

I just installed FIC Bluemax 1250s a couple weeks ago and they run great on both pump gas and E85. This is on the stock ECU.

While we are now also an Injector Dynamics retailer, I have always had very good success with FIC. The newest generation of injectors thatn Jens offers is definitely top notch. Between his tech and customer support its nearly impossible to beat the product he offers. FIC also has injectors that range all the way up to 2200cc now (In the BlueMax line) that are different than both the ID and Magnus 2200s.

The ID1000s are currently back ordered when I went to place an order yesterday if it helps.

John's definitely right on this one! FIC Bluemaxs are the best injector ever made! I run the Bluemax 1450's on e85 and pump in my personal car. The trim and idle values are better than any other injector I have ever tuned!

Thanks for all the input guys, I think I will go with the FIC's then.. I only need the 1050s at the max though but the 1050s aren't the Bluemax series are they? so are they as good still?

I would opt for the 1250cc Bluemax injector before the regular 1050.

But I'm not going to need anything near as big as those, 1000s are already overkill for what I'm doing to my car. I don't think I'll even run E85 anytime soon. Stock-framed turbo - Green, BBK etc, cams, intake, exh, FMIC & tune - they're the major mods I'll be doing for the timebeing....

What should I do??

I understand, but the Bluemax series will outperform the smaller regular injector, and I'm not referring to the flow capacity.

Your other best option seems the Bosch EV14 style, although those require a little bit of work to use.
