Why not buy a bigger set now instead of down the road? I would buy big instead of buying twice! But that just me! Hope you find what your looking for!

So hard to decide now!! I don't really wanna lose the driveability of the car by going too big..
and i don't see myself ever using the 1250s to their full advantage. The smaller injectors will give better driveability, is this correct??

Smaller injectors will usually offer better idle, but you could get the ID1000cc and have an awesome idle but still have the potential for E85 or bigger turbo use.

Is there really a difference in spray pattern with the FIC's? In what ways does this actually help performance? Better idle, wot, etc??

I'm not too keen on the ID 1000s as you have to do those little modifications mentioned.. I just want a plug n play injector thats good

I wish there was more info on spray patterns of common injectors..Does anyone know the difference between the FIC Bluemax range (eg. 1250cc) and the regular FIC's (eg. 1050cc)?

It takes all of 5 minutes to bypass the injector resistor. A pretty small price to pay for having the best injector on the market...

If a 'how-to' for EVO users with photos is posted somewhere, that would be very helpful.

Using the ID 1000s with great success! Very easy to tune, the modification takes just a couple of minutes. I would recommend these injectors whole heartedly. I have used them in daily driving and road racing.

I'm working on it (very slowly). All the pictures are taken, I just need to write it up.

If you want to email me your pics, i'll do the write up. I just don't have the pics that are EVO specific and if we're doing to do a write up, we might as well use the correct pics so there's no confusion.

When you get the photos together, I suggest posting a writeup in the "How To's/Installations" section, and post the link to that writeup in your signature. You'll answer a lot of questions that way.

We're constantly adding to the "questions asked" portion of the Injector Dynamics website. That's where my write up will be when I do it.

Go big and don it once. PTE 1000 work nicely, Mellon tuned mine A good tuner, like Mellon, can make them idle like stock or lumpy, any way you want it. Enjoy!

up to 1450 works good, beyond that and it's sketchy, not acceptable for a daily driver in my opinion because the nozzle is a fire hose and the engine doesn't need much fuel at idle/cruise, but doable for a race car.

What do you recommend Mellon? FIC 1050s, PTE 1000s or the ID1000s?

Cheers
