375whp attainable?

I was just wondering 375whp is attainable on a IX, with the following mods @ 23psi

Intake
FMIC
IC Piping
Throttle Body
Exhaust manifold
o2 housing
Turbo Back Exhaust
Fuel Pump
Flash
Boost Controller

No Cams, no meth

I disagree with both responses.

1) You can POSSIBLY hit 375 with those mods on a custom flash that is aggressive and running 25-26psi, but it wouldn't necessarily be safe or recommended. I also see no reason to put a throttlebody in that list - it makes no sense on a lightly-modded Evo.

2) For the cost of the IC piping, intake ,and throttlebody, you could add a set of cams or alky and make way more power than you'd get from those 3 mods.

3) You would by NO MEANS get _at least 350whp_ on a DD. You MIGHT hit 350 on one, but there's no way anyone can say you'd get AT LEAST 350 on one - that's too much.

Warr, looking at your post above, what would someone with a 03 VIII get out of 3" turboback (stock O2 housing), intake, fuel pump, mail-in flash (26 psi peak) and 272 cams?

anything above 300 whp/300 wtq?

you can Count on that ...
a Cammed evo should make anything from 320 and above ! .. on dynojet ! ..
and since it is 03 .. it needs to change to a 10.5 hotside for max gain ! .. like they do in the 05 evos ..

Sorry guys I left out a few extra things, this would be ONLY on 23 psi, and on a dynojet. A buddy of mine likes to act smart with me. We recently saw a IX put out 340whp with a intake, tbe w/ testpipe, mbc, and flash @ 23psi. So he thinks with additional mods like a fuel pump, o2 housing, manifold, fmic, IC pipes, and throttle body will net him at least 375 easily without cams, meth, and turning up the boost.

He's the one with the IX, I have an VIII. I'm just trying to prove him wrong, because he overestimates the IX.

340WHP is the very high end of the spectrum for an IX with just intake/TBE/tune. I still think in no way is an IX without cams hitting 375awhp on pump gas with a moderately aggressive tune.

quite not possible to get 375whp without cams... most IXs around here net around 340whp on Dynojet with Intake,3" TBE, Test pipe, FMIC, IC Pipes and a flash.

My friend who has similar mods minus the throttle body and piping made 350 on a DD. So I was basing it off of that

I'm no warrtalon, but I had an '03 EVO VIII with many mods. With those mods people could get over 300 whp. Specially if you can get 26 p.s.i. I don't know about a mail-in flash for such agressive tune though... I sure as hell would not try such aggressive tuning with a mail-in reflash. I'd say with those mods and a race fuel tune, you should be able to get 350+ whp (depending on the dyno used to measure )

nobject, it was likely the DD at The Shop, which reads like a Dynojet, not like other DDs who are way lower than Dynojets. Regardless, one car doing it doesn't warrant you saying "at least." Remember, that means your buddy is making the least possible power for those mods and that everyone else makes more. That is not the case - maybe you just didn't mean to say the "at least" part.
