Tranny issue

So I was making a left the other night and i pushed down the clutch to shift to 2nd and I hear this metal crap hit the bottom of my car. At the same time the clutch petal goes all weird and i cant get into 2nd or any other gear. So i pull over and screw with it a bit and realize that i can shift only when the car is off. So i put it in 2nd started it up and cruised home. I couldn't stop or anything because its not fully disengaging even when i put the clutch petal to the floor. The clutch seems to fully engage about a half inch from the floor.

So i got home and really looked under it and this is all i can see:

Obviously, the hole is supposed to be there, however, is there something that goes over it? Does anyone have any idea what happened or what i need to do to fix it?

If it makes a difference i have an ACD Xtreme Clutch and pressure plate.

Thanks.

yea well your break fluid is also used by your clutch so if the pedal feels wierd it may just be the fluid, its on the drivers side of engine bay...

O, i didnt know that. Well the brake fluid is fine, i just took a look. I guess ill have to take it to the dealer and have them look at it. They said it would be 850 just to pull it apart and then another 850 to put it back together! wtf

Don't take it to the dealer, there is likely a cheaper better shop around then the dealer...where are you from?
