i think you had a diffrent thread before this about plugs?wich ones did the dealer give you?

id make sure you didnt damage the coils when you changed the plugs...If it runs rough, pull each coil individually to see if it makes the idle worse. If you pull one and the idle stays the same, its that coil/plug.

Check the gap of that plug, then check the resistance of the coil. It will most likely uncover a problem.

i just started it up again after reinstalling the wires.. it only popped once after about 30 seconds... but when i give the gas a little the whole car is shaking...

the motor isn't warmed up.. its baaaaarely over the line. could that have something to do with it?

hmm check your coils make sure they are tight and wires are plugged in very tight.

what are the old plugs gaped at,you said your new ones are 24,that might be to small.

the old ones were 24 also...

wires are back on correctly... double checked it...


almost done putting the original plugs back in

it was still doing it so i pulled the 4th coil plug and it stopped... then i plugged it back in and pulled the 2nd coil plug and it did it again...

ive pretty much confirmed the coil plug furthest to the passenger door is damaged..

how, i dont know, i was super super cautious knowing how fragile these parts are.

could reseting the ecu have anything to do with it?
