I don't dyno my car so I am not sure, I only road tune the car myself...but most evo9s on alky make about 350-370 whp and 350-390wtq depening on mods, adding cams will bring you to the higher ranges...it all depends on dyno though...

my friend has a fullrace 37r on stock bottom end for over 6month now and so far so good.with a good tune it should last for a while.he has an 06 9mr, the only problem with the car is the maf cant take that big turbo sucking air.he has been true 2 mafs so an aemems is next or him.that maybe something you may want to consider also with a bigger turbo,is going the speed density route.just my .02 tony

EDL, you have 50whp and equal TQ just sitting on the table with cams and meth the difference will be huge. Max. out the stocker first then upgrade you will be surprised how quick a maxxed out stocker is.
If I had to pick it would be a 35R with the expectation of a built head, block, etc down the road.

Read what he said after he's gotten his 35R, lag is over-rated.

You have to remember that the 50 trim is going to max out at 500 whp. How much do you need. If you actually race the car for competition than maybe a 35r would be a good choice. But a 50 trim would do the work just fine for what most daily driven cars offer. I have the AMS 50 trim and Im installing it as we speak. I am going to be very happy with it. Expect 400-415 whp on pump gas. With methonal or race gas expect close to 500whp with the 50 trim. You will have a quicker spool than a 35r or even the 3076. I was in the same bind deciding what turbo to go with and I thought bigger was better also. Really the smaller one was the best choice for me.
