we did another car today
it had
Buschur Racing Ported and Coated Manifold
Megan O2 Housing
Hallman Manual Boost Controller
Custom 3" Turbo Back Exhaust with High-Flow Cat
Perrin Intercooler
Injen Upper IC Pipe w/ Intake
Niesi Lower IC Pipe
Ignition Amplifier
Walbro Fuel pump
APS BOV
before tune the car did 278whp/240wtq... at 18.9 psi tapering down...
after the tune, the car did 309whp / 302 wtq... at 21.5 psi.... it had done a little higher, with slightly more boost, but this car was slightly more knock prone than the other one in this thread.
The final tune on this one had only 1 knock count in one site in each of the last 4 pulls.... did within 2 whp/2wtq on the last 4 back to back....
I think the main difference between this car and the other one, is the highflow cat (random tech) and additional resonator and "quiet" magnaflow muffler. The other car has a full non resonated catless setup, with a fart can muffler.
i did dyno pulls on both cars in 3rd and 4th... this one wasnt an MR, so had the 5 speed.....
We will be adding wa-injenction to both shortly with some larger injectors....
both of them really haul ***, but the MR is just an animal, i think it was broken in a little more aggressively...
also, this car had a decent exhaust leak, due to a bad weld, prior to the cat and the secondary o2 sensor... I also use my wideband on the dyno in the exhaust tip, so it may have been reading a bit leaner than it actually was, so i may have been able to make a bit more power... it was about 11.3 tapering to 10.8 afr, very safe..
im going to put a full 3" catless on it, to do a back to back test in a week or so..
