No, please do a straight C16 tune, and a straight E85 tune.

I think a lot of people are wondering how the two compare in a back to back test.

I can tell you the car drives and accelerates much better on E85 and the 1600cc are much smoother on E85.
I was at 70% duty cycle with 36lbs of boost and 2000cc of meth spraying. Thats alot of gas.

Ive got VP import which is like $25 a gallon and c-14 right now. I would have to order some c-16 in. It just seems like E85 makes more power but we will see Thursday night

Any results from today's tuning?

straight corn squeezin's?

straight C14 or Import?

I'm really anxious to see exactly how E85 compares to race gas..

Are you sure it's really E85, I know most northern states water it down to like E70 in the winter months. If you made this power on E70, then E85 would be nuts.. The only way to know would be to ask the gas station you got it from, they usually know exactly what they have.

Anyway, sorry for the rambling.. I wanna see how this turned out.

(I aknowledge Dave Buschur coined the phrase "corn squeezin's")

Nice, not bad at all.

Did you get the cam gears yet?

What are you planning on doing regarding the cams?

Yeah, I'm sorry to hear that happened to you, at least it's nothin major.

I've been waiting to see a direct comparison between race gas (C14,C16,Import etc.) and E85, so far everyone that's running it, never had a race gas tune, or the tune was off when they switched to E85. So no one's had a spot on maxed C16 tune, and then switched to E85.

That's what Im waiting for. So, thanks for keeping this thread updated.

Well, if AMS' testing on straight E85 goes well, I'm going to tune for it in March after I throw the new clutch in. You'll at least have 50 trim results to compare....
