Tial 38mm Wastegate spring?

Ok I have a ATP GT3076R kit on my evo 8 with a Tial 38mm WG. I took off my greddy E-01 EBC for a Forge UNOS MBC for simplicity. But now my Tial opens at 14-15 psi............ I have the MBC hooked up from the LICP to the MBC to the side of the Tial. So besides going to another EBC would changing springs in the WG fix this? Or MBC springs (if they can be changed) thanks

sounds like you have the large blue spring which is rated at 1 bar or 14.5 psi. Thats a good spring pressure for the evo as theres really no reason to run less then that ever and you can go up to 30 psi on it. I'd leave it at that, unless you want it be higher?

Well why would I want it to open at 14.5? I am losing power right? The WG should only open at what my MBC is set correct? i.e. 23psi. If it opens at 14.5 then its like haveing a huge boost leak to redline. Or am I just not getting it?? It seems that at 14.5 psi when the WG opens its like I am hitting a wall in power.......

If it worked with the EBC then the problem lies in the MBC.

Ok looks like I will have to get ahold of Mike at Forge then. I was thinking I was retarded or at least my knowledge of turbos were lacking........
