This test is completly legit guys. I'm actully with Al, on this one. Results arent swayed a bit.

Results are right on par with turbomag. They gained i want to say 6-8whp just swiching from hks to greddy ti catback

BR exahust is comparable to a greddy Ti.

Al, I'd put my tanabe up against a BR catback. In weight, and performance.

Buschur exhaust is great, however I think that HKS surprisingly kept up well. I was expecting the Buschar to blow the HKS aways since the HKS isn't a full 3" exhaust.

But nice work guys!

Which exhaust are you guys going to try next, Greddy Ti, Fujitusbo, Mine's, AMS, Blitz?

I love what you guys are doing. Keep it up guys.

Everyone knows that HKS is NOT a true 3 inche exhaust and tappers down to 2.5 at the cat and its resonated.. Find another TRUE 3 inch exhaust and test again

Was timing made less conservative when you dynoed the Buschur exhaust?

If the tunes were the same for both runs, were you using a tune developed with the HKS or the Buschur system on the car?

Everyone's focusing on the Megan RTP, but I'd focus more on the resonator on the i-pipe that you can't measure.

Thank you so much!!! I was debating selling my HKS for a Buschur when I install some other Buschur parts this spring but love the look and sound and fitment of my HKS so I was kinda 50/50 on it. I was expecting far more gains from what people have said but now I think I will keep my HKS. I justified buying it based on the fact that, as you said, HKS is a company that actually engineers its products and DOES do R&D as Buschur and many other name brand companies. They also make many high tech items like electronics and even complete engines for ultra-light aircraft so you know they have a large team of engineers who know there stuff. That and the fitment is excellent which was one thing I always hated about the BR cat back. Although they have come a long way.

I asked for this test back before all the drama on the original ebay comparison started and I got what I wanted. Thanks so much Al and I will see you at BR this summer for another tune.

That is exactly what I was going to ask. Seems baseline was done with the HKS, and then put the Buschur on and tuned it for about 8 runs, but oh well. I would actually like to see run 14 or 15.
