Unless you guys were racing from a dig you really shouldn't be surprised that a speed 3 can keep up at the top end. FWD > AWD on Drivetrain loss. Especially if he's modified.

Like people have said before, how did you expect to make power on the cams without tuning for them? You had a base flash which is designed for a non camed car. TT is a great shop and know what they are doing. However, you can not expect them to have a tune be perfect when they don't even have the car in their shop. Every car is different, even if they have the same parts, and because of this a mail in flash will not work the same for everyone. Bottom line, if you want to make power you should have your car custom tuned or AT LEAST tuned to the parts you have on the car.

TT keep up the good work.

I think is the boost leak, or you race too much ahen the car under first 3000 mile may cause the power go down.

alright so here i am agian, and now i have a LICP and got a a custom tune from AMS. car is alot more stable throughout all powerbands, but i am still not pulling as hard as everyone says. i raced my friend agian with intake/exhaust/boost controller, and i am still not pulling on him. sounds like i cant drive right? wrong we switched cars and its the same thing.
so heres what i think im going to do. i am still on stock clutch so im probably going to go with a $800 carbonetics or something. get a boost leak test, and get new cam gears. i really dont know whats up, but just wanted to clear up this thread after i got my tuned. do you think its my stock clutch that cant hold my power or what? i am also going to get dynoed, and post that up.

yes i do have a testpipe.

what cam gears yal suggest? i have hks 272s

I'm running 272's and no problem with my stock clutch at all...sounds like you got a leak...cam gears arn't necessary....

Have you verified that your cams are timed right? They could be a tooth off. If you dont know how to check this PM me and I will tell you how.
