who has pro street cam gears??

UPDATED 3-1-07

ok well i did it. i orderd the pro strret cam gears. let me just say customer service was probly the best i ever had. i was shocked. pro street gets a big A++++++++++ from me. extreamly helpfull. honest and they gave me a nice price and garenteed it that i would have them on time.

i am now very pleased i went with pro street gears.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

who out there has pro street cam gears for there evo? how do you like them and are they accurate with the timing marks? im looking into these or fidenza but i dont know what one's to get. there is not much info on these gears and fidenza gears i here and read good and bad things. thanks guys

Pro Street Adjustable Evo Cam Gears allow for fine tuning of the camshaft timing to maximize engine performance and allows users to adjust their power characteristics for a myriad of driving conditions. Either with Pro Street cams, OE cams or aftermarket cams, these cam gears will allow for adjustment of the powerband in your Evolution. These cam gears utilize a proprietary anodized Hyperluminum™ alloy with nickel plated gear teeth and 304 stainless steel threads making these cam gears the strongest in the market today.

Precise valve timing can be adjusted and set within the range of ± 12°. Each interval index is laser-etched into the face of the cam gear and 5 locking hex nuts allow for adjustments on the fly. These cam gears are the strongest in the market today! These cam gears are MADE IN THE USA with stringent quality control and the highest of material / parts. These are not gears shipped in from overseas with poor quality and inferior construction like most of the gears on the market today. These gears wont slip and the bolts wont strip like on some of the other gears, and come with a standard one year manufacturer warranty.

Proudly built in the USA.

On sale for $79.99 each! - FREE SHIPPING

I've got them, had them for over a year with no problems. Like the fact that they are 5 bolt too. Timing marks seem dead on to me.

Here is something funny, I own a 2001 Galant and i just purchased fidanza cam gears for my new project and they are the same as the 4g64 sohc. So check out thegalantcenter.net or club3g.com and see if you can find some cam gears there as they might be cheaper

price means nothing to me. all i want is an accurate timing reading off the cam gear. not many people have prostreet and i here good and bad things about fidenza. so i made this thread to get a little more info on each gear to help out in picking the right one.

I heard there was a bad run of Fidanza's and the spacing of the teeth was off. When I called them, they said to take a timing belt and wrap it around the gear, they said you should be able to pull it tight and get all the teeth into the belt except the 2 or 3 on the bottom where you would be holding the belt with your fingers. I did this on mine and confirmed they were good. To take it an extra step, I compared mine side by side with my OEM gears and they are dead on, I have no complaints.
