I'm pretty sure I saw another post in this thread about an ebayer who sells the correct unit that everyone is used to. I'll try and dig it up.

Most of our units are good, its just Freddy's is not nice looking.

I'll take pics of mine. It looks really good.
The proof is their posting on ebay. They have the one everyone is used to as the main picture, then on a smaller picturer at the bottom of the description they have an image of the piece of crap they are sending out.

If you actually read the posts on here, this is NOT a one person incident. This has happened to serveral people in the last couple of weeks. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. He was getting good sales on the old unit and is trying to increase his margin with cheaper pos now. Hopefully with all the uproar they'll move back to selling the better unit, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

I also don't give a damn about how it looks, the damn o2 sensor is in the wrong place.

think it touches the ac line, because the sensor wasn't put in at an angle like the stock 02 housing.

I plan on bending my ac line to clear if i run into that problem. Its aluminum so it should be fairly easily without breaking

Wow. Mine as alot cleaner and shiner than that. I put the o2 with the bung on the bottom in on wednesday along with a mbc set at 20lbs and my evo moves alot better. It spools faster and has more heart now. You can notice the difference with the o2 in.

That email is crap. They never responded. Make a dispute with PayPal, then after 3 days if they don't respond escalate it so a Claim. It took 1-2 days for PayPal to grant my refund. I just have to ship the item back on monday, then paypal will give me my $77.00
GoodLuck.
And buy from ebay members OTHER THAN SSAC. Ask ahead of time about which item will be shipped(the pictured one)

I haven't yet, I filed a claim on Feb 26th. Then I was told by paypal if I return the item I will get a full refund, so I mailed the item back That day. The item has been there at SSAUTOC since March 5th. Then they gave me some BS that a virus corrupted some of there files and they only had my email or SOME BS. When in fact I gave them a physical copy of my Pay pal dispute when I returned the item; so there was NO NEED to have any electronic file of me. The case is "Under Review" still at Pay pal. Thank God this was for only for $77 bucks.. This is a Massive Nightmare dealing with these clowns!

Hey guys,

I don't think these Ebay 02 housings would have every caught on at all had we not done back to back testing on the dyno of them and found that the good quality one is an actual good improvement on the car. With that said........

We buy these about 20 at a time now, have them shipped in, unbox them, send them back out to have them ceramic coated, pay to ship them back in and rebox for shipping. Not sure what the current pricing is but we sell them ceramic coated for $195. Believe it or not by the time we ship them 3 times and have them ceramic coated the profit margine drops considerably. I think we end up at about 20%, which is not a large margin.

What I am getting at is, we aren't making a killing, we did the testing to put a stamp of approval on this part. IF you order from us you are gauranteed to get the correct one and not have to mess with Ebay or some company that might stick it to you. IF we ended up with the ugly one that doesn't look like it flows well, WE'D send them back and have to handle it.

Just making a simple point. Do what you'd like with it.
