I bought the same O2 housing from ssautochrome and mine looked real nice, like your first picture, fit perfect no problems. sorry about yours, does look like the short bus welding class.

pics
here's some pics that i took of both types. it's kind of hard to see but the divided ones wastegate path basically merges into the main exhaust path through a hole about the size of a quarter.

damnit...i just had this happen to me. if you guys are going to get the ebay o2 housing, do NOT buy from vendor: ebay id: www.ssautochrome.com
here's what i bid on:
the one i got had the o2 bung in a completely different place, rendering it useless.
The O2 sensor touches the discharge line of the A/C system (some dumbass put it there ), and the damn turbo will not bolt up right.
Not to mention, the tubing doesn't kick out enough, so it hits on one of the studs, i was going to use both gaskets, and pray no leaks, but i didnt even get that far
anyways, just be careful if you're going to buy ss auto. i researched a lot on here, because i was skeptical about buying an ss auto part. after hearing all the positive things about the o2 housing, and the gains, etc, i decided to go for it, and i ended up getting screwed. it will definitely make me think twice about putting a non-trusted brand part on my car again.

If it wasn't the one you purchased why attempt to install it? Send it back and contact your CC with your return tracking number and you will be taken care off. Now since you tried to install it you probably can't return it...
