Quick DP fitment question

I have a 2006 EVO IX MR with ACD, will an RNR downpipe with flex pipe fit?

I've checked all the threads I could find that were even remotely relevant, and none of them had the info I need.

Thanks, Curtis.

most downpipes Ive heard with the 9 need a special underbrace. My buddy just used his turboxs downpipe with rmr underbrace with no issues. THe rmr brace was only $150 I think.

with all the bad posts about rnr and their crappy customer service I'm wondering the same thing as Thisxguy.

The IX downpipe must clear various things on the evo IX. Although some may struggle to make an VIII fit, you should be sure to buy a IX specific dowpipe. The testpipe you may use can work for either the VIII or IX but the stock IX's have an 02 port so if you don't have one on your aftermarket catback you will want to be sure to buy somehting such as the Ultimate racing Testpipe for 75.00 with cel fix. Lancershop sells a megan downpipe that is IX specific for just under 160.00. I belive its currently out of stock but this might be a good option. As far as dowpipes go, they should all be the same as its a 3'' pipe although I have not read anything about RNR exhaust systems. However, fitment is everything for these so get the IX specific.

PM me if you have any questions I've been working on my IX TBE install.

Also, double check with the factory that the IX's will clear the MR.

it was a used one, but i'm not looking at it, i'm leaning towards the DC Sports Downpipe/Testpipe combo
