thank you for the straight answer...i was hopin that question was worthy enough to be in advance..i asked before in another place and i got nothing but bs ...but im not so sure about the power loss when pedal is fully pressed...my celica stays with me until i let off the gas ...then all power is back...i was told that a tune would fix it all (air lag, cant get enough in at once)

This was something i used when I was researching for a turbo ..
The 9 compressor map is different .. so don't use the compressor map .. this map and some on the web are for the older TD05s .. The 16g on the evo runs a slightly bigger compressor .. 565CFM if I remember correctly (Evo 5-8 series)
It is a RAR file .. so you need to rename the extension from .ZIP to .RAR
Oh yes .. it doesn't matter if you're using Methanol, race fuel, rocket fuel .. when you drop off the efficiency tables of the compressor, you just blowing hot air .. or worse (wonder how does supersonic compressor stalls feels like on the turbo)

The object is to increase air flow not boost. Boost equals heat. Rather than running the turbo at 27psi you would be better off running it at 24 and put a little time into port matching your intake/exhaust manifolds. Once you go beyond 26 psi you'll probably be better off attempting to get more power with timing than with boost.
