Just received my Carrillo Rods and Ross Pistons

Just received my Carrillo Rods and Ross Pistons along with Clevite Bearings
I am planning to drop these in next week....

Good choice of parts! Carrillo rods can hold a ton of power, good luck with the build!

Love carillo rods, but honestly prefer wiseco over Ross. Your machine shop should be able to pickup on any irregularities though...

Well i heard alot of thing about wiseco and ppl wernt happy with the performace.
So that is why i went with Ross.

Ross track record (consistency) =
Wiseco Consistency =

Ask any machine shop. Then again, Shepherd use to use Ross pistons, and I believe he ran 8's with them.

I bought carrillo rods. The shop I was going to get to build my motor said they are junk, and because of it will not build my block!! I thought they were one of the lightest and strongest rods made?

Anyone have any experience with them?

I can only tell you that I've held an Oliver rod in one hand and the stocker in the other and the Oliver felt and looked like it could handle 800whp with nary a worry...

i hear one of the best combos are the ross pistons and the oliver rods.
