i just put in a new clutch (Exedy HD twin plate) and changed the tranny oil... i used royal purple, now its hard to put it in to gear, 1st 2nd and 3rd are the hardest, 4th and 5th are still hard but not as bad. is it the royal purple?? the clutch feels like its in the middle, not too low and not too high, could it be the clutch is too low? can someone help please

you need to adjust your clutch pedal...there is a how to some where on here. Also use OEM fluid.

you dont have to use oem fluid, but you do have to adjust your clutch. I use penzoil been working fine 3 changes in 20000 miles, I was gonna switch to royal purple to see how it is though.

I use Royal Purple in my trans and don't have any problems with it. The only problem that I had with my transmission is when I had to adjust my clutch pedal like others have already mentioned.

You said it's been pretty cold out? When you start the engine do you let it sit a few minutes before driving? Or do you just start and drive?
