20glt. It has stock like spool up time, so that would make it a better daily driver. It will also make more torque.

50 trim, more safer reliable power with 500 -1000 RPM spool differance.

The 50 trim and 20glt are nearly identical in terms of maxium power output. Why would you waste your money on a expensive turbo kit that spools later?
The 20glt is basically a bolt on 50 trim.

Plus if you get the 20glt people will like you on the forum....

But seriously..for the price you cannot beat the 20glt...since you already have a EVO 8 with a stock turbo(?), I should be a good upgrade.

BUT.....if your going to Boost past 21 Psi alot....then i would suggest a Ball Bearing 50trim. People talk about spool on BB turbos, moot point really, but what i found is that the Garrett BB CHRA's can take alot of abuse....The AMS kit uses a BB 50trim.

The GT35R is 800rpm laggier than stock. You can always down shift to a lower gear than normal to negate the lag.

Although they both flow about the same amount of air, I've yet to see a 20g/LT (FPGreen) surpass a 50trim in terms of power. IMO if you're going to be running pump gas with no alky/meth I'd go with the 20gLT. It will make great power AND torque, and costs less than half the price of any nice bb50trim kit such as AMS, Shearer, etc. Not to mention it spools almost like stock whereas the 50trim is probably 700rpms later. If you plan to run race gas or alky/meth injection I'd go with the 50trim. Your torque won't be anything special but your top end will be mean and the lag won't be bad at all. Most 50trims on race gas or alky/meth are putting down anywhere between 470-500whp (dynojet) with supoprtings mods. The 20g will probably max out at around 440whp

The 20glt will never surpass the 50 trim in terms of maximum power, but they are really close.

The 20glt maxxed out at 450whp and 450 torque on Buschur Racing's Mustang dyno. That would roughly equate to 515whp on a typical Dynojet.
