Question Cam Profiles

I was wondering if anyone know where I could get the cam profiles (by individual cam lobes) for the stock Evo's (8 or 9). I'm looking for the displacement (S) versus cam angle (Theta). I did some searching and couldn't find much information regarding this.

The reason I'm curious is because I wanted to compare this directly with some of the aftermarket cam designs. (If anyone knows where to find some of these that would be great). This isn't critical to my build or anything, but it is more for my own personal education. Right now I'm learning how to build cam profiles from scratch and it would be cool to see where some of the exact changes are being made for aftermarket cams. Thanks for any help you may have in the matter!

Ok, does anyone have the stock cam dimensional specs (prime radius, follower radius, thickness etc...)

1st off you posted this in drivetrain so that may be the reason for the lack of replies. 2nd, you can get basic cam card type specs in the regular engine forum, it's a sticky. Sorry I can't help you with the (Theta) stuff, I thought that was scientology.

I appreciate the help with this guys. I guess i should have told you I already have all the cam durations, lifts and centerlines. And I should have deleted the first two posts cause i've already got that information. The only thing I really need is the dimensional specs so I have a starting point to build off of. I'll just have to do some more searching. But thanks for the help though!

it's for a class project. I'm trying to design a set of modified cams based off of the stock cams and similar to some 272's. I then have to model it in Pro/Engineer. Some assumptions can be made such as Beta angles, but i need the cams to physically fit. This isn't going to go into production or anything, cause I currently don't have the means to design for flow patterns and what not, but i atleast have to model it.
