The cause of my TC's whine.
So my TC obviously is whining but I'm curious if what I did played a part in its death whine.
First off... The car has roughly 125,000 miles on it. It has been driven on lower boost since 60,000 until just recently when it was finally fixed. The car has never been taken to a strip, street raced, or really abused. I've changed the TC oil with the proper factory recommended 90w oil and to the right levels. The car has the original clutch.
Secondly... this is where I'm unsure... I have installed Buschur front and rear solid plastic motor mount inserts and a Energy Suspension rear carrier bushing. The engine mount bushings were installed months prior and the rear bushing a few weeks ago.
As timing would have, The day AFTER I got the boost back to factory levels again is when the TC started whining. Do you think its a combination of the power coming back after a long time and the bushings, one but not the other, or just something that happens (coincedence).
I might add that driving the car for that long on reduced boost was torture. I plan on posting my process soon (probably this weekend).

As for hearing it before. It was silent one night, to louder than volume level 49 the next.
Also. I commute mostly to Falls Church but I do a lot of driving, in and out of VA.
