Does anyone know about a turbo for an evo called a white rabbit? if so how much better are they than a stock evo IX turbo?

Its an outdated piece now. If you want something better than your stock IX but still a "stock like" turbo, get the new 20gLT or EvoGreen.....your choice of what you call it.

theres the current record on it, on a customers car. not even the shop car.

guessing that is around 460-480whp on a dynojet.

This turbo is not a piece of garbage. It is better than the stock Evo 8 turbo. If you have an Evo 9, it is not worth it. If you have an '03-'05 Evo, it's a decent upgrade. Good autocross turbo.

Calling a White Rabbit turbo a peice of trash is calling a 20g-5 a peice of trash. same compressor wheel.

Stock internals have nothing to do with anything; the turbo has the same potential regardless of what is done inside a 4g63. ALSO the 20LT won't touch the limit of the stock internals; people have made well over 600 whp. And don't just call it a 20g because there is another turbo called that and you'll get confused.

You should use the SEARCH function available in this forum.

on an uncorrected dyno jet . . . my assumption.

+1 on staying away from it though, espially if you have a 9, wait until you max out your stocker; it's a very efficient and streetable turbo capable of 400+whp on pump. Anyways if you're not going for higher than 460~500whp, stick with the 20G-lt or stocker IMO.

The White Rabbit uses a titanium compressor wheel for lighter weight and slightly quicker spool.
