Sad day today, this car left the shop for it's trip back to California.
It was humorus as the owner came to get the car and all his old parts. We started the car, pulled it outside and there is sat, idling quietly waiting..........Dennis said to one of the guys, "I can't believe it can just sit there and idle like that." Then they said, "Didn't it do that when you brought it here?" The answer was "Hell no." Made me feel good when I heard about it.

DB,
I am not trying to hijack - but since you mentioned how the car was idling like that (smoothly I'm assuming). What cams are in it? How is the idle with your 272's? Any sound clips? I want to upgrade from my hks 264/272 split now, but I don't want it to idle like the sound clips I've heard of the 280's. Do you think the strokers (I'm 2.4L w/3065) run smoother than 2.0 does if you have big cams?

Great guy that Dennis. I met him today while getting the car tuned. He's got one long haul back to Cali. He said he owned quite a few cars (and a jet), but his favorite was the EVO. He was just amazed at what David did to the car. The story Dave tells about him driving it is a good one. He was very impressed I would say. Before leaving I noticed a drum of C16 going onto the truck. He's going to have fun that's for sure.

To All @ Buschur Racing,
After leaving Wakeman, I drove (the Evo was on the trailer) non stop to my home in Minden NV. I then spent the next two days (recovering from no sleep) enjoying the NV weather and then on to San Jose, CA. After arriving here I have had to catch up on all of the activities that I had left slip from the previous 12 days. In addition the weather has not been conducive (been wet) to go out and try to learn how to drive my upgraded Evo
This weekend it is going to be beautiful here in SJ and I will spend the next two days figuring out how to enjoy everything that you all (Buschur Racing) have done for me and will give you an update on Monday.
Before ending this I would like to mention, that in all of the time (my first car in 1954 was a 1934 Ford) that I have been involved with cars, this experience with Buschur Racing ranks at the top.
Thanks again and stay tuned.

once again another beastly build from Buschur Racing
Quick question for someone at BR...how will the coating on one of your tubular manifolds hold up to rainy/wet weather on a daily driven car???
