Fpgreen vs bigger turbo's for street use?

hey guys there is only one person with this turbo in the uk, he put down 385atw at 1.9 bar boost on forged built engine 2. 0 litre (27.5psi)

he is over the moon with his new turbo, he changed from a gt3076 and is happy with the upgrade.

my plan is to do the same however run meth (50/50) instead of build the block

what im looking to research is in the real world on the road how would this setup compare to the likes of a stroker with a gt35r? offcourse i understand that the 35r will be faster but i mean on the street would an fpgreen not rape a laggy gt35r from light to light ?

i have searched and read every thread there is on these forums and what im looking for is some info from people who have maybe got fpgreens and use to have larger turbo's and want their views on the change over, or even people who have been in cars running larger turbos vs fpgreens.

does any fpgreen owners have vids of theirs apart from the ones on youtube?

i think there are quite a few people with the green in the UK - he was the only one with decent results so far though not to take away from his numbers, but I also remember reading that was not able to pull from a car with 335whp (tesh?).

Back to your question, a properly setup stroked evo with a larger turbo would demolish a 2.0 evo green on straight line I have ridden in a few 2.2 / 2.3 stroked cars with hks 3037, hks 3240, ams 37 kits and they are fastttt. just to give you an example of how fast - a properly setup 3240 car is considerably faster than a 430 or 997 turbo

not sure if its wort it for a daily driver though...

I made 380whp on the Green on stock 2.0 on 91 octane gas rating. I love it for daily driver. If I were go to stroker for sure run a bigger turbo.

mr birdie was that on dyno dynamics rollers?

bosshog i would have thought that an fpgreen would be quicker than f430 and 997 turbo let alone 35rs etc?

mr birdie, does the green surge at all and how much power were you able to extract from it vs your stock turbo? from what I read, I am looking at 300rpm loss in spool vs 20-40hp gain over 4k rpm

no way on pump gas

when I say 3240 was considerably quicker, I ment he was able to come from behind and pass the the 997TT and 430 after they started racing from a roll ... he wasnt supposed to, but I guess he couldnt resist

doesnt matter if its in the UK or DD, really depends on how the dyno is calibrated. Factory calibration on DD and MDs always seem to read lower than dynojets or dynapacks, but thats not to say you cant get a DD to read high
