Just order one from Buschur, and sell your current turbo like I did and get some money back.

As Warrtalon states: the Buschur Racing 20G-LT turbo, is the same exact turbo as the Forced Performance EvoGreen turbo. They both are manufactured by Forced Performance Turbochargers, Inc. Buschur Racing only changes the nomenclature for marketing purposes.

this is the preferred way to do it currently since there is a HUGE back up on core exchange. . .I'm going to buy it new and just sell the Evo VIII turbo. . .you'll recoup the money one way or the other. . .

I just installed my 20G-LT and I dont get full boost (20PSI) until 4500RPM, is this normal? Sometime it will take a little longer than that 5000 to 5500 RPM to get to 20PSI.

Here is a list of my mods

1) DC Sports header (ceramic coated and wrapped)
2) 20G-LT ported on the exhaust side (hot side ceramic coated)
3) eBay style o2 housing (ceramic coated)
4) 3 inch downpipe and cat delete (ceramic coated and wrapped)
5) 3 inch cat back exhaust. No tapering anywhere in the exhaust.
6) HKS RS intake
7) lower intercooler pipe
8) 255 fuel pump
9) ecu flash (NOT specific for the 20G-LT)
10) manual boost controller set at 20PSI
11) Buschur high pressure wastegate

Item in my basement to be installed
1) AEM EMS with speed density setup and boost control
2) Buschur 880 injectors
3) FJO wide band o2 setup
4) Aquamist with direct port injection setup

My guess is that you mistakenly bought your FPGreen with the updgraded 18psi actuator (this WGA should only be used on 25+psi applications). I've documented, along with others, the fact that this actuator causes a "boost hump" which hits peak pressure/torque around 5500rpm. Either tune around it or buy the stock WGA and have a more common/natural boost curve that tapers from 4k to 7k.

EDIT: I see that you listed the "Buschur high pressure wastegate." That's your problem.

You have the Buschur HP actuator on your new turbo right? Also, you should get rid of the cat.

Since I don't think they pressure test the installed WGA's on the bench to see at what PSI they're opening, then you probably have to tinker around with shortening the adjustable actuator rod a bit. Mine was kinda sluggish when I first installed it too.

Pd1 and sparky thanks for the response.

Currently the HP WG has 4 full turns on the adjustmanet rod, if I were to add more turns to the rod, or run like a Forge WG would that help the problem?

I dont have a cat.
what did you do to reduce the sluggishness?
how many turns did you shorten the rod?
