Paid for Premium fuel and got Reg
I went to Chevron and got a full tank of fuel, paid for premium and some how the car is running like absolute crap. Pinging and knocking and running very grogy. I have already added 2 things of octane booster and to no avail. What should I do??

octane booster raises the octane too insignificantly... trust me it wont do crap. go get 3 or 4 gallons of leaded race gas (leaded cuz tend to have highest octane). dont worry about corrupting the o2's, its not enough to have any negative effects.
that will bring up the octane number by a few easily

I filled my Envoy up one time that night the ses light came on and she was skipping. Turned out that i had water in the gas and alot of it. Since it was not a warrantable failure i had to eat the bill (600 bux). The service manager even got me a sample of the gas to show the owner. Im glad i didnt put that gas in the EVO i would have killed the owner of that gas station.
Make sure to flush the system or get some octane booster and run it all out without getting in any boost if at all possible

the local retard put 89oct in my car. 20.00 worth of it. i made them drain it out or i was not paying for it. they put 20.00 93oct in and the owner did not make me pay. i pay'd anyway for doing the job right for me and getting it done.

Guys, i was told and something else!
As you everybody know we use the same pump to put 87, 89, 91 and 93 octane here in New York. A big problem occurs especially with the old gas stations...
The distance between the pump, the tank and the selector system does the damage... For example, a guy pulls in front of you and puts 87 octane... The selector mechanism opens the 87 tank and starts pumping 87 octane fuel... We are talking plenty of feet of distance from the tank to the pump solenoid... After he finishes he puts it back and leaves...
Then you pull on the same pump... You select the nice and good 93 octane and you start pumping... Well the crappy 87 which is sits in the piping and the selector mechanism from the pump where do you think goes? IN YOUR GAS TANK!!!! This piping distance can be several gallons of 87... So what happens is you put for example 12 gallons og gasoline, YOU PAID 12 GALLONS of the expensive 93 and there is a good chance to have gotten 3-5 gallon of 87 octane instead of the 93!!!
And then you wonder why the car drives like ****!!!!
This is no bull. A friend of mine told me who used to own a Shell gas station. This was a big issue and only the newer gas stations have resolved it!
I used to put gas from a Sunoco gas station near our house but i didn't like how the car was driving! i would see knock even @ 22psi boost. Now i am getting gas from a brand new Shell gas station with new pumps and the car feels awsome!
However, still i don't trust any gas stations, thats why i got 5 gallons of Torco racing fuel concentrate and i use in every fill-up...
