Tuning is a must. In my opinion, I'd order all my parts little by little, and put it on all at once and get it tuned. That's what I'm going to do. I'm actually going to take my downpipe and testpipe off, go back to stock stuff, and wait until I get all my mods in.

With just the intake, you'd probably be fine. But, you've turned up the boost as well and leaned the car out even further. You're probably getting some knock from leaning out the mix and leaving the somewhat aggressive stock ignition timing on the top end. The car should protect itself, but get tuned soon.

That HKS intake removes all the engineering and tuning put into the air box, MAF, and about a half dozen maps by totally changing the path of air accross the sensor.
The ECU relys on the MAF signal in both open and closed loop but mostly open loop where it determines IPW.
Even after severly adjusting the fuel maps the tune is still off.
I know this because I have same intake and made the mistake of selling my old original one.
Sounds cool installed though

I don't know what your mods are but it seems like you're going the wrong route. Here's what you want to do:
Turbo back exhaust, intake, manual boost controller and lower intercooler piping. Don't put any of these parts on until you get your reflash. This list will get you the most power for your money. The stock intercooler is fine for your stock turbo.
