that valve is kind of outdated since forge released the RS model which is a much better unit, but i've seen people have success with the original. do you have all the springs that came with it? have you tried different ones?

Search still works if you actually try. You haven't given us any information that we can help you with, because Forge has multiple BOVs, and you didn't give an exact name. Which exact one are you asking about?
Are you saying you get low boost flutter on the stocker? That's going to happen on any strong BOV. Also, boost creep has absolutely nothing to do with the BOV. if you're getting boost creep, then you have much bigger problems to deal with.
The stock IX DV is an excellent BOV - you have no reason to change it that I can see.

the stock ix dv will work great for you, and are u just getting flutter with half throttle, because that would cause it, and as for your boost creep, what mods to you have maybe adjust the waste gate rod.

I have the Forge evo15 DV in my 05. I have been getting a flutter in 5th gear when boosting. I'm tuned so I figure it's the BOV.
I guess I have to put the shins in. I have the blue spring which is suggested.

Thanks for all your advice.........
seems the best advice is to just stay with the stocker........
funny how MITSU actually got it right with that
stock BOV ......... go figure

There is nothing wrong with the valve and you couldn't have searched as thoroughly as you're implying you have. I replied to a thread questioning the same exact thing yesterday.

Have a read in this thread and it will answer your questions as to why stock valve don't flutter and aftermarket valves do. Further, it will explain why flutter is not a detrimental issue.

No hard feelings man, really!
I was just pointing out the info to save myself from typing out the same answers over and over.
If you have any other questions, however, feel free to get in touch with me!
