Possible to throw a code P0172 with just a Walboro FP?
#4
I throw it with my 35r upgrade meth, and walbro 255. I think it is just a issue when I am idling i will throw it every once in a while. Clear the code and it will be fine for a while then one day it will appear.

Are you still on the original ECU, assuming the error code cannot be coming from an aftermarket ECU..
I doubt that, else alot of people who have done this upgrade will be getting that. The original ECU uses the oxygen sensor to "constantly" correct the fuel mixture. If my memory serves me right, there's a very high possibility that the oxygen sensor is faulty.
Do you find your gas consumption very bad? If so, then the oxygen sensor might be faulty and the ECU goes to "limp" mode to "protect" the engine by throwing tons of fuel.

I'll have to look into that with the 02 sensor, fuel pump, and the VTA bov set-up I have.....
Yeah I'm on the original factory ECU, with OEM injectors and MAF....
I can clear the codes but It comes right back....
I notice that when the engine is warm, the car has a hard time idling (Hks 280 cams) and it kinda hesitates a bit when you try to get rolling from a stop, I have to rev it a bit and slip the clutch a bit to take off...
