I just changed to the MR Super Diaqueen from straight BG (non-synthetic) tranny fluid on Friday. (The reason I changed was shifting was feeling "notchy" after 3 track weekends).
Just got back from two days on the track and this stuff works very well in the 5-speed. The track I went to requires about 9 shifts per lap, and we'll do about 15-20 laps per session depending on time and traffic (so over 900 shifts in a weekend). There was an immediate noticable difference; notchiness gone, very smooth shifting (as good as if not better than the BG when it was first filled).
The local dealership was nice enough to "fill me up" from thier 5-gallon drum with a gallon jug, so it didn't cost me any more than off-the-shelf stuff.
We'll see how it does in the long run after a few more track weekends, but I'm impressed so far!

It's just an Internet ***** shop that doesn't serve the Evo community other than to provide a wide variety of OTHER people's parts. Buy from the source, so the money goes directly to the people who make those parts (or who serve the evo community and sell other brands, too). Just my opinion on the matter, not a requirement.

i tried bgII and yes it was smooth but it didnt give me the protection i was looking for cause everytime i changed the tranny oil a lot of metal shavings came out with the magnetic bolt and the last time i changed it out a significant big piece was attached to it maybe part of a gear or something and this scared me so i went and use mr diaqueen and the gearbox feels great and it has less metal shavings on the magnetic plug

This is what Evomoto say about Super Diaqueen,im confused.
We strongly suggest running the OEM fluids in the EVO 8 transfer case and the Rear diff. What we have here is a jug of GL5 SAE90 OEM EVO MR Diaqueen Mitsubishi fluid. This fluid is NOT to be used in the tranny, we suggest using the BG syncroshift for the transmission.

i think he toasted the 4th gear in his 6 speed so he just went with a 5 speed instead. i guess it deals with the heat from a track day better or something, i dont remember, i read some stuff on here though.
