Car Won't Idle When Cold Keeps Stalling
Please Help Me Troubleshoot my problem.
I'm having a problem starting the car when the engine is cold or left overnight.
Normaly when you start the car, the idle will go up to about 1300-1400rpm to warm up the engine then the idle will settle to about 950rpm when it reaches its operating temperature.
Everytime I start the engine cold, the idle will drop then stall the car immediately.
You have to give it some gas in order for it not to stall.
My question is do you think its related to the idle stepper motor?
Do you guys think it needs cleaning? Car is currently at 43k miles now.
Thanks For The Help
