76mm/3 in o2 housing?
I searched around on the forums and I didn't find much. I have a works DP and was going to order the works o2 housing but it costs 450 bucks which is a little more than I'm willing to spend/ I got pulled over on my buddy's dirtbike yesterday and owe the good city 450$ in fines. I have a ttp 2.5 inch o2 housing but it doesn't look like it will mate up. Do you guys know if the ttp o2 will work with the works dp because i know the works mates up to the stock o2. If not anyone know of any decent 3 inch o2 housings? Thanks for any help!

The O2 sensor location on the Invidia is a concern, but it is a small one. The sensor harness does not need to be extended, but rather, you can simply relocated the wiring which will allow you to mount the O2 sensor without plenty of slack left on the stock wiring.
I'm not going to debate the whole making power thing because that was based on one study. But when someone is actually looking for a 3 inch (or close to it) O2 housing at an affordable price, there really is no other choice. And IMHO, its not a terribly bad choice. But hey, at least you defined your interpretation of junk so its all good.

Either way you look at it, you have to modify things to install it. When there are less expensive peices that make the same if not more power without having to do that.. it makes that part obsolete.
No one should technically be looking for a 3" 02 housing. They dont make any more power over 2.5". This has been proven many times, even on DSMs with 500whp+.

I agree with you, 3 inch is not necessary, even for exhuast piping as there have been plenty of cars with less than 3 inch piping that make great power. But the fact remains that people are still looking for the largest piping possible, even it is beyong their power needs. Just look at all the popular catback systems and inquiries about whether or not they taper to less than 3 inches.
Just because there are other products that are less expensive and make more power than another product does not make that other product obsolete. Just look at ARC, JUN, etc. Your mentality would only limit the choices of upgrades to just one. Choice is always good.
