RMR PROS
probably knows our better than anybody
can tune for just about any brand of turbo back, open filter kit, etc.
Uses the stock boost solenoid to control boost @ 19psi all the way to redline
an external boost controller can be used w/o a problem
RMR CONS
No 93 Octane map (only 91 so far)
$150 or so more expensive!
no 3 year warranty or $100 credit on buying its parts with the reflash ... yet
Second reflash is not free .... but it is cheaper which is good
has anybody seen the RMR reflash dyno graph Is one even available yet I need to give them a call
Worksrally PROS
Great price
Industry leading warranty with $100 credit toward its parts
second reflash is free! But third and so on goes back to regular price
93 octane map available
Worksrally CONS
currently only offering flashes for its own parts (other mods may work but its not gauranteed)
Does not hold boost to redline (this may or may not be perceived as a con)
some believe that the power curve is a bit conservative (this also may or may not be perceived as a con)
why is the works evo only putting out 205hp stock on a dynojet

I still believe a SAFC is better, you can custom tune your ride per each bolton and the car will still recognise whatever boost you thorw at it and teh amount of airt comming in and the temp comming in, the only benefit I see for the ECU is re-worked rev limiter, but the cames really can't make power past 7500 anyways so I reallyt think the SAFC II is the way to go.

Timing is self adjusting based on detonation and fuel trims. You take away the fuel and get teh car to run right and keep knock low your timing will jump to a respectable level, right not it is too rich to get proper timing and yanks it, smae with running too lean. My DSM ran this way, the ecu/maf setup is essentially the same so you may get 18-21 degress of timing on pump gas with a SAFC, I managed 19 on my talon at 21PSI on a T3/T4 650CFM turbo, car moved.

until there are dyno plots with stock setup + map and upgraded setup (exh/ 02 simulator/ intake/ higher boost)+ map i think all this is just a waste of breath. or waste of key strokes?

Of course being able to set timing will net more power, such as a PMS, but having a SAFC will allow you so much room for future tuning and to adjust for every single mod. If you timing is constant and so is your fuel curve, you will run into trouble and possible detonation problems. I think teh EVO should get a Version of teh DSM link which is like a SAFC that shows EVERYTHING and allows you to set your timing as well, and you only have to set it once, shut it off and leave the car alone until future moding.
As for me a SAFC and a APEXi ITC would be perfect.
