ETS 35R kit makes 545hp 480tq pump/meth MD dyno

The car is a '03 EVO with stock intake no port work at all and stock ignition system.

This was also on a MD dyno which is known to read about %5 less than our local Dyno Jet that we cant use any more .

Thanks to Ground Zero Motorsports for the dyno time and good pricing.

Quick specs

-2.4 built buy us 8.5:1 comp
-HKS's 272's
-ARP head studs
-AEM EMS tuned buy me with some Feed back from John Reed (RRev)
-RC1200's
-255hp intank
-255hp inline with stock fuel lines AEM turns pump on at 2psi
-Our Meth inj kit
-Extreme Turbo Systems T4 GT35R turbo kit
-Extreme Turbo Systems 3in Fmic non race VS. Still fits behind crash beams
-Extreme Turbo Systems 2.5in IC piping
-Extreme Turbo Systems 3.5 TBE Exhaust

Also with the way I do my Meth setup he can turn it off and the car is on a safe 21psi 401whp tune and just with a flip of a swtich he is 545whp and 28psi.

The car did make 588hp and 520tq with some race and meth. We started geting some ignition break up past 32psi with a .019 plug gap. I know once we get some stronger spark we will make a easy 600+whp.

I am really happy about the pump/meth # the most. This is the power the car makes all the time which is awsome to me.

Here is Chris 588whp with some race gas and meth. Know Once we get some better spark it will be more so I am not as proud of this # yet.

Nice work Lucas!!! You've added serious skills with that AEM to your already impressive repertoire

If you're anywhere near the NW, Lucas is your absolute best bet for anything 4g63.

Enjoy that car Chris, I'm really jealous of your 2.4!

I am the owner of this car and it is a BLAST to drive so far. I am really pleased what the car is doing on the pump/meth combo right now.

Thanks Lucas @ English Racing for building me a badass setup that is killer on the streets. I can't wait till we are able to upgrade the ignition to a coil setup and try again on the race fuel and maybe give my car the E85 treatment.

Also, the ETS kit is top notch. I am so glad I ended up going with the ETS kit rather than some other kit. Oh Tom, I need to hit you up about the air filter that was with my kit.. I got the short stubby one and was hoping to get the long one that I think is suppose to come with it? LMK

y not jsut add a dli2??? that would prob get you up to 34-35 psi.

Seeing this gets me excited as I have the same kit and will be tuned shortly on the same dyno, but I have a 2.0. I was just hoping for 550whp on that dyno but its looking closer to 600 is a possibility. very nice very nice

We wanted to see what the stock ignition would handle first.

And I personaly don't like the dli2 . I feel much better going with a custom coil setup

Since we have AEM we are going to do DSM coils and power pack. Cheeper and seems to work good. I know on our 700whp EVO the DLI has not done the best job. Even at 600whp we have to run the gap at .019 to keep her from missing.

I know Jake (Evil Eagle) have done a few DSM coils on EVO's with good sucess. His DSM that runs 9.5@150+ rans stock DSM ignition. I know he just put a DIS 2 on for better 2 step over the AEM but not for missing reasons.

It isn't a typical "35R", it uses at T4 housing rather than a T3 housing like all the other kits out there. So I am sure that is hurting the spool up time a lil bit. Doesn't bother me at all though.

What is thought to be the tops a GT35R will make on pump/meth?

What does 545 on this dyno equate to in flywheel power? About 650 or so?

So on pump the car makes 401 atw? What is that at the crank? Like 480? What type of pump fuel do you use for that tune?
