Help me choose GSC S2 or Cosi Mivec cams?

I am in the debate between going with the GSC S2 or Cosi 272 evo 9 cams. The setup that I would be using is a 35R with most of the bolts ons with required fuel mods and stock internals besides cams with flash also alky.

However, I have found some interest info on both cams. GSC S2 advertised duration is 274 IN and 272 EX, but have an effective duration @1mm of 230 IN and 225 EX with an 11.2 lift IN and 11.0 lift EX. Now the cosi's advertised duration is 272 for both IN and EX, but have an effective duration @ 1mm of 255 IN and 221 EX with a lift of 11.0 for both IN and EX.

Now my question is which set of cams would be a better choice for my setup? I have seen a good number of people making good power with both stock turbo and bigger turbos with the cosi's. But haven't seen much for the S2 probably since they recently came out.

I just put in a set of cosi's. I am doing a 35r and meth. I just didnt want to have to change valve springs with the GSC cams. They are really awesome cams. Sounds mean as hell and make alot of power.

From research and some of my Evo friends running them, I would say go with the Cosi IX cams.

Hey, a GSC vs. Cosworth thread! Haven't seen one of these in a couple days...

I'd go GSC, but that's my opinion. I feel some people favor Cosworth simply because of their name. When you look at experience dealing with the 4G63, it's not even close.

You could always wait for the JUN IX cams that are going to be available soon as well.

I'm also looking at doing a GSC S1 Cams set. Although the S2 cams are tempting, I doubt I'll ever really get that aggressive on my power end.

I've heard nothing but great things about GSC though, so you'll probably do fine either way.
