the STD correction factor generally doesnt work for turbo charged cars. there is so much more heat generated in a turbo car than a NA car.
also dont feel bad about doing expensive mods and not gaining **** in hot weather. i did the same thing. was 396 with a megan mani at 45 degrees, then 2 weeks ago put in a $1000 full race mani and dynoed 393, but it was 90 degress and humid as hell. so yes, temps effect the cars power tramendiously.

Same thing happened to me after installing IC, FR Mani due to higher temps
Although there is no way to make the outside air temps lower, maybe we can considerably reduce our intake temps through disconnecting hot water feed to the throttle body?
I dont want to steal this thread, so you can post your replies on the other thread I started or PM me, but the issues might be related as they involve higher intake temperatures and power loss.

So true good point NoTec, but since im not a tuner or have a hard time understanding this concept. I trust Tuning Technologies and the guys over there, alfred even told me to bring the car back so when I get my pipping power coated he'll put it on the dyno during the cooler temp. This would be a good comparison to my pervious dyno run at 74 degree.
Atleast now I know when I head out to the Road Course where temp are anywhere from 90-110 degrees, that I know where my car stand in power =P.

all I know is that my power went down by just like you after installing FR manifold, APS Intercooler, Nisei UICP & Precision 680cc injectors (-6HP after the second remap at 20+F hotter weather). I was tuned twice by reputable tuners (one came all the way from UK - 'the dentist') and both times my power was down from baseline. I really think it is due to higher temps. I am gonna try the coolent bypass mod and see if I can feel a difference. It is free and reversable in just a few minutes....

This is just my opinion, but the correction factor never seems to take into account how much power is lost in heat. I have seen very large differences in dyno results from excessive heat, however, I don't remember the last time I saw a correction factor that added 20 whp

well not to hijack the thread i got tuned by the same people on a fp red on 91 octane, i put down 385awhp on there dyno in july, and you guys have different climates compared to tts area....2000 feet elevation with 100+ degree in summer, and on my dyno day it was 107 in the dyno room, and stuck on 91 tell me if your car would make more power hahah... so u mid westerners should kinda get where were comin from.
