has anyone actually got andy back to back dyno run with 93, race and E85??? would be really nice to compear what the % gains are for each.

OFF TOPIC! just read an article about a cossy over here running straight meth. he only ran 2 injectors!!!!! well they aren't really injectors, more garden sprinkler systems! lol still a VERY clean install with no messy injectors in hes loverly sheet metal intake!

This is out of the pump at gas stations. You could always go to a speed shop and get one of their 5 gallon race fuel cans, and fill that up at the gas station. I doubt they sell them like VP race fuel does, I may be wrong though.

I looked at that earely today there is one in Druham , I live in S-Raleigh (Garner) and work in Knightdale . So that would be a 40 min dirve or so for me , I wish thet had one in tha CAPTIAL of the state .

Btw --- just called the gas sation in Druham and E85 is $2.99 but there price sacle is off . They are wating for word from the main office to get the corect price up .

Good find, but why in the world would anyone pay $3.82 a gallon for E85 that generally goes for like $2.49 a gallon if that for national average?? That's not a good deal.

I guess you are paying over a dollor a gallon more just for the drum that cost a few dollars. Greed

all you need is walbro and bigger injectors and a new tune

If you are using the stock turbo or a turbo with equivalent boost levels:

1) Walbro
2) 880cc injectors or bigger
3) retune (EcuFlash, for example).

Bigger turbos may require 2 pumps and high cc injectors.

I suggest getting a "tune" which allows you to swith maps between super unleaded (91-93) and E-85, depending on the avaiability of e-85 in your area.

I agree with one exception, I would go with 1000cc injectors. With 880cc you will run out of injector long before you max out the fuel. I actually maxed out 1000cc injectors with a single walbro using a white rabbit turbo on a stock block.

I have. On 93 octane I made ~360 whp at 23 lbs.. By changing to E85 and only adding fuel I immediately gained ~15 whp. You can run much more aggressive timing and more boost w/ the E85. I ended up making ~ 450 whp at 28 lbs. I could have made alot more, but ran out of fuel w/ one walboro and 1000 cc's.

as for being able to switch fuel map i know ems and other stand alone's allow you to do this but what is a cheaper alternative, if any?
